You will absolutely not get caught as long as the United States Postal Service (USPS) does not change its current policies. The main one is that domestic packages, anywhere from point A to point B, no pakcage will be opened and looked inside of as long as its from America to America. If at any point the USPS starts searching packages DO NOT USE THIS METHOD.
Legally at least, you won't get caught or anything. I have the highest confidence that this is 100% safe to do. Unfortunately this guide will require some technological literacy as this have to utilize the dark net markets (DNM). It's not scary, mostly stupid people use it to make a quick buck or something. It'll also be a prerequisite to have your own Tails OS running. Thankfully I have already made a guide setting that up which can be found here.
So on the darknet markets you will not be able to use a credit card and shouldn't, as it will be traced back to you. There are two options you can take, one is better than the other. The first way which is easier in my experience but less safe is creating a bitcoin wallet. Both these methods are just different cryptocurrency. You can use your bitcoin to send it to your DNM vendor but bitcoin is on the blockchain, meaning anyone can look into your wallet and see where your money came from and where its going, so its not totally safe. The best way to go about this is to use Monero, another cryptocurrency but it is anonymous, no one knows where the money is going to and where it has been. This method is a bit more difficult as its more challenging to get Monero into your hardware wallet, for instance you can't buy Monero on Robinhood, you'll have to use some peer-to-peer (P2P) service. You can use your credit card for that, it's like withdrawing money from your bank account, your bank can see you are withdrawing money, but they don't know where you'll spend it, or spend it at all.
This part might be tricky. I have not visited a DNM in a second and I'm not sure if abortion pills are available yet, but they might start popping up more frequently. Anyways, when you find it, message your vendor and you will pay him. Now this step is very important to stay safe, you will need to give the vendor your address. Stay calm it'll be ok. If the vendor has a lot of positive reviews you will be fine. To stay anonymous, you will need to encrypt your home address using the vendor's private key. What is a private key? A private key is a set in asymmetric encryption with a public key. How this works is both partners have a public and private key. As the names suggest, only the owners have access to the private key but everyone else can have and should have the pubilc key. For example your friend Alice could encrypt a message "hello" using your public key, and share it to whoever in the world and they will not be able to decrypt or read the original message "hello", instead it will be gibberish. However if you decrypt that with your private key, you will be able to read the plaintext "hello". Amazing! This is so if the DNM ever goes down and federal agents try to find who ordered what, they'll be stumped as your address is encrypted. And even if they do, they have no proof that YOU purchased it, meaning you're still innocent. So rant over, you will need to encrypt your address with the vendors public key. There exist software such as Kleopatra to do such tasks.
After paying and giving the vendor your address it should get delivered to you in whatever time the vendor said, it could be a couple days or a week usually. Also, never buy internationally, those packages get looked at the borders of the sending and receiving country so you'll be cooked. If someone asks you to sign, sign the package, its not an admission of guilt, you literally don't know allegedly what's in the package.
